One of rap’s most talented collectives is Dreamville Records. J. Cole’s compact team of artists is teeming with some of the best creative minds in the industry – from R & B to rap. Bas has been in J. Cole’s orbit since 2013 when he appeared on the latter’s “New York Times” track with 50 Cent. Bas was signed to Dreamville’s partnership with Interscope Records and he’s been one of the label’s hidden gems since. By hidden, we don’t mean quiet either – He’s two albums in since 2014, and now he’s prepping for the third. On August 24, 2018, Bas will be releasing Milky Way and it looks to be an amazing peek into his world. A few days ago on Aug 7, 1AMRadio threw him a listening party and video shoot in Miami in preparation for the album.

Based on what we’ve heard from the album, Bas has a hit on his hands. He doubles down on the smooth, melodic sounds of Last Winter and brings in some surprising guest features to help build an immense world of sonic bliss.
